Life on Mars, the 2008 Carnegie International, explores the increasingly relevant yet perplexing question of what it means to be human in the world today.  The exhibit runs through January 11, 2009. Visit the Carnegie Museum of Art to see this unique exhibit.

Oakland This Friday

OAKLAND FARMERS' MARKET

Starting Friday, June 20 the Oakland Farmers' Market will be offering a variety of products to Oakland consumers.  With 14 vendors, this year's Market is the largest in the history of the Oakland Farmers' Market and will be offering a wide variety of goods. Come see what the Market has to offer every Friday (except July 4) from 3:30 pm -- 6:30 pm.
